Win 7 User on 2003 domain getting "Access Denied" errors unexplainably.
Have you forced W 7 to SMB 1? Have you played with parameters of NIC parameters (autotuning etc)

User receives "Access Denied Contact Your Administrator" error when attempting to save a new file, but only the first time he attempts to save it, the next time it saves correctly. Any suggestions or ideas would be great, as this issue is not only isolated
to one user, but it almost doesn't make any sense. Thanks!

Hi,
Whats the type of saving file? Is if an excel file? If yes, please refer to the link below:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/271513.
If not, What folder are you storing the document in? Does the same problem occur if you use a different folder?
In my opinion, I suspect you dont have ownership of the file or you don't have permission to write. Try to ticked the 'full-control' box for the 'Everyone' account.
Hope this helps.Spencer
